Dr Jonathan Harlen is a Lecturer in Law at Southern Cross University's Faculty of Business, Law and Arts. He holds a PhD in Law (2022) from SCU and maintains dual expertise as both a legal academic and internationally published novelist. His research integrates legal history with theoretical analysis of post-colonial legal systems, particularly focusing on Aotearoa/New Zealand. He also contributes to legal education innovation through Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoLT).
