His practice spans sculpture, drawing, electronic music, and curatorial work. Educated at Örebro Art Academy, Gerrit Rietveld Academy, and The Sandberg Institute, Ohlsson's interdisciplinary work interrogates existential themes through material experimentation.
His artistic mediums include porcelain installations, wood sculptures, denim-based works, DJ performances, and written commentary. Key exhibitions include Frankfurter Kunstverein, Sao Paulo Biennial, Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Bonniers Konsthall (Stockholm), and Marrakesh Biennial. Ohlsson emphasizes collaboration and process-oriented creation, stating "art is not a goal but a tool" for exploring life and mortality.
Though no specific grants or laboratories are documented, his practice demonstrates sustained engagement with institutional critique and material poetics. The artist maintains a philosophy that art is both personal necessity and collective dialogue.
