Jon Ziesemer is the Education Coordinator of Clinical Experiences at Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC), where he also teaches courses such as EDU 347 (Instructional Strategies - Choral Music) and EDU 590 (Instructional Supervision). With a B.S. in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College and an M.A. in Education – Instructional Technology from WLC, he brings over 32 years of teaching experience in elementary and high school settings in Minnesota, including roles as a choral conductor, fine arts department head, and guidance counselor.
His research focuses on rehearsal strategies for choral performance, classroom management in music education, and student engagement. He has contributed to professional development through guest conducting at choral festivals and adjudicating music competitions. Ziesemer is actively involved in organizations like the American Choral Directors Association and serves on the Celebrate Teachers and Teaching Steering Committee (EDGM).
