John Maciejczyk is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Notre Dame Law School. He holds a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy (1976) and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School (1984), where he served as Note Editor for the Law Review. His career includes federal judicial clerkship with Chief Judge Ruggero Aldisert (1984-1986), private practice in Houston and Elkhart (1987-1998), and roles as Chief Deputy Prosecutor for St. Joseph County (1999-2002) and Elkhart County deputy prosecutor. Since 2004, he has served as an Assistant United States Attorney, handling over 100 criminal jury trials and 30 appeals in the Seventh Circuit. He teaches courses on Cybercrime and Cybersecurity/Data Protection at Notre Dame.
