John Flood is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language & Culture at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Arts. He specializes in medieval and early modern Anglophone literature and culture, particularly focusing on Christianity's role in English literature. His research explores topics such as Eve's representation in antiquity and the Middle Ages, early modern Irish writing, and the interplay between theology and literature.
