Dr. John Chilton is an Associate Professor of Bioscience Communication at the Peninsula Medical School, University of Plymouth, and serves as Associate Head of School for Admissions, Marketing, and Recruitment. His academic roles include leading biochemistry education and integrating interdisciplinary approaches like Enquiry-Based Learning (EBL) and Braingineering into medical curricula. He co-created Wordotomy, an educational game for teaching healthcare terminology widely adopted in medical schools and distributed globally via Focus Games.
His research focuses on neurobiology, cell signaling, and medical education innovation.
