Dr. Louise Alldridge is Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences (Education) at Peninsula Medical School, where she serves as Widening Participation Lead and Programme Lead for the BMBS with Foundation Year. She is actively engaged in medical education, curriculum development, and equitable access to medical training.

Her research centers on equity in medical education, student selection processes, and the impact of outreach on teaching skills. She employs qualitative methodologies, particularly interpretive phenomenology, to explore stakeholder experiences in medical admissions and training environments.
Dr. Alldridge’s recent publications focus on widening participation forums, discrimination in medical education, and the role of standardized testing (GAMSAT). Her work reveals a strong commitment to inclusive practices, ethical training environments, and evidence-based educational reform.
