Dr. Joelena Leader is an Assistant Professor of Management and Managing Director of the BRIDGE Knowledge Centre at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan. She holds a Ph.D. (Interdisciplinary Studies) and M.A. in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan. Her research focuses on the interplay between technology and society, emphasizing inclusive and ethical technology adoption in rural, remote, and Indigenous contexts. Dr. Leader leads SSHRC-funded projects on community-based technology frameworks and collaborates on initiatives addressing healthcare equity via telerobotic technology and AI ethics in Saskatoon’s service delivery.
