Joe W Killiany

Joe W Killiany is an Instructor in the Composition department at George Mason University. He holds an MA in Literature from New Mexico State University (2009) and a BA in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2000). Before joining Mason in 2013, he worked as a full-time technical writer focusing on substance abuse and mental health documentation, and spent three years as a special education teacher in DC's public schools. He co-founded Barrelhouse, a nationally distributed literary magazine.
