Joe Jarret

Joe Jarret is a Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Tennessee, specializing in public administration and law. With a PhD in Education and a Juris Doctor, his career spans over two decades in public sector law, including roles as County Attorney and Chief Legal Counsel.

His research examines judicial processes, emergency management, and ethics in governance. Recent publications address electoral reforms, death penalty distribution, and decolonization of legal education.
