Dr. Jiska Eelen is an Associate Professor in the Marketing Department of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focuses on consumer decision-making mechanisms, particularly how embodied cognition (body-mind interplay) influences choices in contexts like medical decisions, social media, and online shopping. She has held visiting positions at Rotterdam School of Management and Université Blaise Pascal, and previously researched persuasive communication at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (University of Amsterdam).
