Jie Yang is Associate Professor of Management and International Business at the University of Texas at Tyler's College of Business. His research examines international business strategies, cross-cultural management, and global consumer behavior. Education includes PhD in International Business/Marketing from Saint Louis University and BA from Minzu University of China. Industry experience includes roles as Overseas Marketing Manager and Senior Consultant for international firms.
Research portfolio demonstrates expertise in political connections in emerging markets, cross-cultural consumer psychology, and innovation management. Recent work explores shared leadership dynamics, organizational learning ambidexterity, and luxury consumption patterns across cultures.
