Jessica Webster

Jessica Webster is a Teaching Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of New Brunswick, located in MacLaggan Hall 223, Fredericton. She holds a Master of Nursing (2011) and a Bachelor of Nursing (1999) from UNB, with additional certifications in Perinatal Nursing, CAPPA instructor training (2015), and a Diploma in University Teaching (2008).

Her research focuses on perinatal nursing, emphasizing reproductive and sexual health, infant feeding practices, and nursing education strategies. She has received prestigious awards including the Allan P. Stuart Excellence in Teaching Award (2018) and UNB Faculty of Nursing Teaching Excellence Award (2018).

Her publications address global nursing education partnerships, compassionate care for miscarriage, maternal-pediatric nursing practices, and competency standards for childbearing family care. She actively contributes to committees such as the New Brunswick Baby-Friendly Initiative Steering Committee and the UNB 203 Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity Board.
