Jessica DeMink-Carthew is an Associate Professor of Middle Level Education at the University of Vermont's College of Education and Social Services. Her work focuses on creating socially just learning environments for young adolescents through anti-oppressive, liberatory approaches to teacher education and K-12 pedagogy. She actively collaborates with the EMS-YPAR Collective and Middle Grades Institute to advance equity in middle grades education.
