Thomas M. Philip is a Professor at the Berkeley School of Education, University of California, Berkeley, where he serves as Faculty Director of the Berkeley Teacher Education Program (BTEP). His work centers on the intersections of ideology, learning, and equity in educational contexts, examining how teachers navigate power structures to transform classrooms toward more just and democratic practices.
