معرفی
Jeries Abu-Hanna is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Acquired Bleeding/Haemostasis at the Oxford Haemophilia and Thrombosis Centre, affiliated with the University of Oxford. He works within the research groups of Prof Nicola Curry and Prof Robin Choudhury, focusing on endothelial regulation of haemostasis and thrombosis in health and disease.
- BSc in Pharmacology (First Class Honours), University of Bristol
- PhD in Cardiovascular Science, University College London (UCL)
His research explores trauma-induced endotheliopathy and its role in bleeding/clotting abnormalities, using in vitro models with tissue-derived and blood-derived endothelial cells. He also investigates inflammatory and angiogenic mechanisms in vascular malformations, Crohn's disease, and scleroderma.
- CSL Prof Heimburger Award for studying endothelial mechanisms in haemophilia joint bleeding
He supervises Academic Special Interest Projects and Final Honours Scheme Research Projects for medical students, and has advised thesis committees for 4 PhD students. His work bridges vascular biology, trauma care, and translational haematology.
