Jeremy Allen serves as David H. Jacobs Professor of Music and Professor of Music in Jazz Studies at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he has been a faculty member since 2006. A Grammy-nominated bassist, he performs internationally with jazz luminaries including Fred Hersch, Mike Stern, and Kenny Wheeler, with DownBeat magazine praising his playing as “worthy of Jaco Pastorius.”
