Mark Walker is a Professor in the Percussion Department at Berklee College of Music since 2001. A Grammy-winning drummer and percussionist, he specializes in jazz, Latin, and world music traditions. He created curriculum at Berklee, served on the Education Committee, and teaches drummers globally through clinics and masterclasses. His work spans film scores, jingles, and recordings with artists like Oregon, Paquito D'Rivera, and Caribbean Jazz Project. He leads the jazz octet Rhythm of the Américas, blending Caribbean and South American rhythms.
