Jennifer Parrack is an Associate Professor of Spanish at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), where she has been since 1999. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and specializes in Spanish Peninsular literature, with a focus on gender studies, memory studies, and post-Franco narratives. Her teaching emphasizes experiential learning through service projects, study abroad, and community engagement.

Her early work explored monstrosity and fantasy in 19th-century Spanish women's writing, such as Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda's Sab and Adelaida García Morales's El silencio de las sirenas. She employs interdisciplinary methods to analyze cultural trauma, material culture, and gender dynamics in Spanish literature.
