Nuria Godón is a Professor of Spanish Language and Hispanic Literature & Culture at Florida Atlantic University's College of Arts and Letters, specializing in 19th-21st century peninsular literature, film, and cultural studies. Her interdisciplinary expertise spans gender, sexuality, and migration themes in Iberian contexts.

Her research focuses on masochism, gender dynamics, and cultural identity in Spanish literature, with particular attention to fin-de-siècle transitions and 21st-century redefinitions.
