Jennifer Page, PhD, is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Education Department of Antioch University New England. She works with the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership, supports K-12 educators in place-based learning, and serves on the Maine Environmental Education Association’s Board and the University of Maine Honors College’s Board of Advisors. She is also the High School Module Coach for the Maine Department of Education’s MOOSE project.

Her research spans Aquatic Chemical Ecology, focusing on chemosensory tracking behavior in blue crabs (Callinectes sapidus), and Place-Based Education, integrating environmental science into curricula aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Recent work emphasizes standards integration in project-based learning and sustainability education.
Dr. Page is a 2018 ee360 Community Fellow with the North American Association of Environmental Education (NAAEE). Her scientific awards include this fellowship, highlighting her contributions to environmental education innovation.
She has taught courses such as Place-Based Teaching and Learning, Sustainable Leadership, and Independent Study, leveraging her background in K-12 education and teacher professional development. Her advisory work centers on empowering educators to design experiential, community-connected learning environments.
Dr. Page’s professional activities intersect marine science and education. Her earlier research with Dr. Marc Weissburg and Dr. Sara Lindsay explored fluid dynamics and regeneration in marine organisms, while her current work bridges ecological principles with pedagogical frameworks to enhance STEM engagement in schools.
