Jennifer Maloney is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at Adelphi University, within the College of Arts and Sciences. She resides in Brooklyn, N.Y., and her work explores the intersection of objects, memory, and artistic preservation.

Research Interests:
Maloney’s practice focuses on transforming mundane, discarded objects into autobiographical artworks that commemorate family traditions of saving and hoarding. Her paintings and assemblages seek to balance precise representation with the symbolic elevation of ordinary items.
