Jennifer Mack is an academic researcher affiliated with KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS). She holds the titles of Senior Lecturer in Architectural Theory and History and Associate Professor of Architecture at KTH, while also serving as a Pro Futura Scientia Fellow at SCAS.
Her research bridges architectural history and social anthropology, examining intersections of power, ecology, and equality. Current projects analyze histories of toxicity, stigma, and privatization in modernist suburban renovations across Denmark and Sweden.
Mack’s recent publications focus on themes like urban gardening, migration, and religious architecture. Her work addresses public space, urban planning, and sustainable development, often through interdisciplinary lenses combining architectural theory and social sciences.
