Chakad Ojani is a Researcher and Pro Futura Scientia Fellow at the Department of Social Anthropology, Stockholm University. Holding a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester (2021), he has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University (2022-2024) and Jagiellonian University (2021-2022). His research spans the anthropology of infrastructures, environmental anthropology, and science and technology studies.

- Current Projects: "Oceans in the sky: Conservation, infrastructure, and ecologies of fog capture in coastal Peru" (book project) and "Infrastructuring the extra-terrestrial, un-earthing anthropology: Sweden in the new space age"
- Research Themes: Explores material engagements with fog as water infrastructure in Peru, and speculative planetary ecologies through Sweden's space infrastructure developments
- Scientific Awards: Royal Anthropological Institute's Radcliffe-Brown Sutasoma Award (for PhD thesis), Pro Futura Scientia Fellowship
