Jennifer L. Stevens is an Associate Professor at the University of Toledo's Neff College of Business and Innovation, specializing in Marketing & International Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Mississippi State University and a BBA from Belmont University's Massey College of Business.
Her research focuses on consumer behavior within retail and digital marketing contexts, emphasizing brand relationships, co-production experiences, and service recovery strategies. She employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore topics like online retailing dynamics, consumer welfare, and managerial practices.
Stevens has been widely recognized for her academic contributions, including the 2018 Best Paper in Retailing Track award and the 2017 Donald Zacharias Student Teacher of the Year award. Her work has appeared in journals like Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, and Business Horizons.
Her teaching spans courses such as Social Media Marketing, Principles of Marketing, and International Marketing, with consistently strong student evaluations. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary research agendas, including studies on gig economy workers and trauma-informed retail strategies.
