Jennifer Bouton Schaub is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Flute at Carthage College and an active orchestral musician. She has been a core member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra since 2011 and performs regularly with prestigious ensembles like the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Her international career includes extended appointments with the Australian Ballet and Australian Opera in 2019, as well as guest artist roles at major festivals across the United States and internationally.

- Publications: Assistant editor for revised edition of Orchestral Excerpts for Flute (2009); contributor to Flute Talk Magazine and The Instrumentalist
Research & Creative Work focuses on flute pedagogy, piccolo performance, and historical interpretations of Vivaldi concertos. She has released the first complete recording of Vivaldi's Piccolo Concertos by a North American piccoloist and is preparing a scholarly edition for publication in 2025.
Performance Highlights: Acting Second Flute with Lyric Opera of Chicago, appearances at Aspen Music Festival (Piccolo Fellowship), AIMS Summer Festival Orchestra in Graz, Austria, and multiple performances of Vivaldi's RV 443 with Nicholas McGegan in 2023.
