Jenni Conrad (she/her) is a Professor of Social Studies and Teacher Education at Oregon State University's College of Education (OSU-Cascades campus). Her research examines intersections of critical pedagogy, democratic education, and culturally sustaining practices in social studies and teacher education. With eight years of K-12 teaching experience in Seattle public schools and experiential learning programs, she specializes in power dynamics, identity, and inquiry-based learning. Previously held positions include research scientist at the University of Pennsylvania, postdoctoral fellow at Temple University, and teaching faculty roles at the University of Washington and Seattle University.
