Jeffrey Orr

Jeffrey Orr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication & Culture at Royal Roads University, where he has taught since 2012. His research focuses on verbal/visual rhetoric, border-crossing narratives defining Canadian identity, and intercultural communication strategies between governments and private enterprises. He also explores photography’s role in cultural heritage and has taught internationally in Ireland, the UK, Japan, and Turkey. Orr is involved in developing international cultural societies and previously served as editor of Poetry & Audience Magazine in the UK.
