Anthony Caravaggi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at University College Cork (UCC), affiliated with the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences. He holds a Visiting Research Fellow position at Queen’s University Belfast. His research focuses on conservation biology, particularly ecology of rare/threatened species, invasive species impacts, and application of technology in conservation. He completed his BSc (First Class) at Bangor University, MRes at University of Leeds, and PhD at Queen’s University Belfast. His postdoctoral work examines impacts of forestry on hen harriers in Ireland as part of the SHINE project. He also contributes to the Hare Survey of Ireland 2017-19 and leads the Biotweeps project.
