Jeffrey Morris

Jeffrey Morris is an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a focus on marine microbiology and ecological interactions. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Kennesaw State University and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee. His research in the Morris Lab, funded by the National Science Foundation, investigates the ecology and evolution of marine bacteria, particularly interactions between algae and heterotrophic bacteria. His teaching interests align with these research themes.
