Jay Coble serves as Professor of Trumpet at the University of South Florida School of Music, a position held since 1998. He concurrently performs as Principal Trumpet for Opera Tampa (2007-present) and lead trumpet for National Broadway Tours at Tampa's Straz Center. His career uniquely bridges academic instruction with active professional performance across classical, jazz, and commercial music spheres.
