Jasmine Williams

Jasmine Williams is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication at George Mason University (GMU), where she teaches COMM101: Fundamentals of Communication. She is concurrently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication at GMU. Williams holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts: Acting & Directing (Ferrum College, 2019). Her research interests intersect health communication, health inequities, performance arts, and public speaking, with a focus on advocating for marginalized communities' mental and emotional well-being.

Williams aims to establish a children’s theatre program as a sanctuary for marginalized and lower-income youth. She is preparing to pursue a Drama Therapy License, integrating her academic and artistic expertise. Her professional activities align with GMU’s Communication Department and broader institutional initiatives in community engagement and health advocacy.
