Jared Hall is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Music at Whitworth University since 2022. He holds a D.M.A. from the University of Miami, M.M. from Indiana University, and B.M. from Whitworth University. His expertise focuses on Jazz Studies & Performance and Trumpet, with notable contributions to jazz harmony pedagogy and trumpet performance.
Research interests include jazz improvisation, instrumental pedagogy, and the application of harmonic systems in jazz education. His work bridges performance and theory, exemplified by publications like The Piano Grip System and albums such as Seen on the Scene.
