Prof. Jane Oakhill is a Professor of Experimental Psychology at the University of Sussex's School of Psychology. Her work focuses on children’s reading comprehension, cognitive development, and the impact of gender stereotypes on language processing. She has held this position since 1990 and has contributed extensively to educational policy and teacher training programs.

Research Interests: Oakhill’s research spans cognitive psychology, with a core focus on children’s reading comprehension development.
