Professor Jane Hart is a Professor of Geography at the University of Southampton, serving as Deputy Head of School (Education). Her research focuses on glaciology, glacial sedimentology, Quaternary Science, and environmental sensor networks. She leads projects funded by the National Geographic Society, Leverhulme Trust, and NERC, exploring subglacial hydrology and glacier dynamics in Iceland. Hart has held external roles including Council Member of the Quaternary Research Association and reviewer for the Irish Research Council.
