Jamon Copeland is an Adjunct Professor of Exercise Physiology and Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Ave Maria University (AMU). He also serves as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach. He holds a B.A. in History from Franciscan University and an M.S. in Health, Kinesiology, and Sport Studies from Texas A&M-Commerce. Additionally, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
With 19 years of collegiate coaching experience, Copeland integrates his expertise in athletics and exercise science into his roles at AMU. His mission aligns with the university's goal of forming 'future saints,' emphasizing both academic and character development. He resides in Ave Maria with his wife and five children.
