Jamie Becker-Finn is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she teaches courses on the Legislative Process. She is also actively serving as a State Representative for Minnesota House District 42B, currently in her third term, and holds key committee positions including Chair of the Judiciary Finance & Civil Law Committee, and membership in Ways & Means, Environment, Behavioral Health, Ethics, and Property Tax committees.
Her academic and professional work reflects a strong commitment to public service, equity, and governance. Her teaching focuses on the mechanics and impact of legislative systems, drawing from her direct experience in state governance. While no peer-reviewed publications are listed in the source, her work spans legal, policy, and community engagement domains, particularly in civil law, behavioral health reform, and environmental regulation.
