Professor Ira Mark Bloom is a distinguished faculty member at Albany Law School, holding the Justice David Josiah Brewer Distinguished Professorship. A prolific author, he has co-written 10 law school casebooks on tax and trusts/estates, including the two-volume treatise "Drafting New York Wills and Related Documents."
His expertise spans estate planning, property law, and trusts/estates, with significant contributions to legislative reforms including the Uniform Trust Code in New York. He has taught at multiple prestigious law schools, including Loyola University, Tulane University, and The Ohio State University.
