Jakob Fichert is a pianist and educator with an international profile, holding the position of Principal Lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire and serving as a specialist piano tutor at the Universities of York, Leeds, and Hull. He completed his PhD at the University of York in 2023, focusing on Adolf Busch’s piano works, and collaborates with the Busch Kollegium in Karlsruhe. His career spans solo and chamber music performance, editorial work for Breitkopf & Härtel, and masterclass instruction across the UK, China, Mexico, and Chile.
