Ivan Mitchell is an Associate Professor in Leadership and Change at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia (UEA), and joint Head of the ESI Departmental Group. He lectures at UEA and the University of Cambridge, focusing on organizational behavior, leadership, and change management. He co-founded Ryze, a social enterprise app bridging learning and creative media.
Qualifications: BA (hons), PGCert, MSc, PhD; Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
Research interests include leadership, business transformation, work-life balance, trust, psychological contracts, workplace relationships, and digital education technologies. He has consulted for global firms and won multiple awards for research and teaching excellence.
Projects include 'Broadening Perspectives: A Mini MBA Course' (consultancy, 2023) and an ESRC-funded project on learning and wellbeing (2015-2021).
Accepts PhD students focusing on leadership and digital education. Active in Ryze’s innovative educational initiatives.
