Associate Professor Ivan Kelić holds a PhD and has been affiliated with the Faculty of Economics in Osijek since 2011, serving as an Associate Professor since 2023 and Deputy Dean for Teaching and Students since October 2021. His research focuses on leveraging modern technology in business, particularly in tourism marketing, blockchain applications, and digital transformation. He leads programs such as the lifelong learning initiative 'Voditelj turističkog gospodarstva' and organizes professional training in collaboration with industry partners.
He has contributed to strategic projects for institutions and businesses, integrating theory with practice through consulting roles. His teaching spans undergraduate and graduate programs in business, tourism, and marketing at the Faculty of Economics, Osijek, and has collaborated with other institutions like the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek. Key research interests include consumer behavior, mobile marketing, blockchain in tourism, and the impact of digital technologies on marketing strategies.
His publications highlight trends in AI adoption, generational consumer behavior, and tourism competitiveness. He actively participates in academic societies like the Croatian Marketing Association (CROMAR), serving as its Secretary-General from 2017 to 2021. His work bridges academic research with practical applications, emphasizing technology's role in shaping modern business practices.
