Bruno Budimir is an Assistant Professor at the Marketing Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Osijek. He holds undergraduate, graduate, and specialist degrees in Marketing of Special Areas from the same institution and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. His research focuses on the digital economy, including e-commerce, digital marketing, artificial intelligence tools, and user-centric digital transformation.
He actively contributes to academic teaching by conducting seminar classes at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Budimir is a member of the Croatian Marketing Association (CROMAR) and plays a key role in organizing educational programs such as the Social Media Academy, Google Ads Academy, and VirtuOs. He collaborates with local businesses through working groups to bridge academia and industry needs.
His research interests span AI adoption dynamics, user experience in digital platforms, and the impact of emerging technologies on consumer behavior. Recent studies analyze Gen Z's engagement with ChatGPT, trust in AI systems, and the role of user-generated content in tourism planning. His work often addresses practical applications of digital tools in marketing strategy.
Budimir’s interdisciplinary approach intersects technology, marketing theory, and regional economic development. He has presented findings at conferences like IMR 2020 and contributed to projects evaluating rural digital competitiveness and the link between education investment and economic growth.
