Prof. Marija Ham is a full-time Professor at the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek, University of Osijek. She has been employed there since 2006 and holds editorial roles in international journals such as Ekonomski vjesnik / Econviews. Her research focuses on sustainable consumer behavior, online marketing, and political marketing, with over 55 published works.
She teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Osijek and collaborates with other institutions like the Faculty of Economics and Business in Rijeka and the Faculty of Tourism in Opatija. Her work includes projects like Determinants of Ecologically-Oriented Consumer Behavior Intentions, funded by the University of Osijek.
Prof. Ham has received awards for her contributions to education and research, including recognition from the University of Rijeka and the Croatian Marketing Association. She chairs CROMAR (Croatian Marketing Association) and emphasizes sustainable development in her editorial and academic activities.
Her research explores topics such as chatbot adoption, influencer marketing, and the impact of social media on political engagement. Her articles often bridge theoretical frameworks with empirical studies in Croatia and beyond, addressing modern societal challenges like eco-conscious consumption and digital transformation.
