Dr. Irene Antonopoulos is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the Department of Law and Criminology, Royal Holloway, University of London. Previously affiliated with De Montfort University, the University of Surrey, and the Council of Europe, her research focuses on human rights, migration, and environmental degradation. Key projects include analyzing the human rights implications of the UK's Agriculture Act 2020 and advocating for climate migrants' protections. She has contributed to UN Sustainable Development Goals addressing climate action and human rights.
