Dr. Ira Lindsay is an Associate Professor and Head of Surrey Law School at the University of Surrey. He specializes in Tax Law, Property Law, and Philosophy of Law, with research interests spanning political philosophy and comparative law. Lindsay holds a B.A. in History from Swarthmore College, a Fulbright Fellowship in Russian history, a J.D. from Yale Law School, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan. His professional experience includes tax law practice at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, judicial clerkship at the U.S. Court of Appeals, and postdoctoral research at Dartmouth College.
