Dr. Ian Rothwell is a Lecturer in Contemporary Art History and Digital Culture at the University of Edinburgh's Edinburgh College of Art, specializing in art after the internet and digital visual culture. His research focuses on postinternet art, the problematic status of painting in contemporary practice, and visual culture's intersection with online platforms.
