Zoe Weldon-Yochim is an Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Tennessee. Her research focuses on contemporary art’s engagement with nuclear colonialism, ecological violence, and U.S. militarism, intersecting with Indigenous studies, environmental humanities, and science and technology studies. She examines how artists visualize contested environments through her book project Atomic Afterlives, Earthly Hauntings: American Art and Nuclear Remains.
Education: PhD in Art History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
