Associate Professor Grant Stevens is Deputy Head of School (Art) at UNSW Art & Design, where he combines academic work with artistic practice. His expertise lies in contemporary art, focusing on intersections between photography, moving image, and digital media.
Stevens earned his PhD (2007) at Queensland University of Technology, along with a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, BFA (Honours), and BA (Visual Arts). His research examines contemporary art's response to technological shifts, the attention economy, and neoliberal wellness constructs.
