Ian Baker

Ian Baker is the Sherman Fairchild Professor of Engineering and Senior Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs at Dartmouth College's Thayer School of Engineering. His research focuses on materials for energy systems, mechanical behavior of materials, and advanced characterization techniques. He holds degrees from the University of Oxford (BA, 1979; D.Phil, 1982) and has been recognized as a Fellow by multiple prestigious organizations.
