Holly Janes

Holly Janes, PhD, is a Professor and Head of the Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology Program in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She is also an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington and a member of its Graduate Faculty. Her expertise lies in statistical methods for evaluating biomarkers and optimizing medical decision-making, particularly for vaccine efficacy trials and cancer prevention/treatment.

Current research projects involve leadership in the HIV Vaccine Trials Network’s Statistical Data Management Center, statistical methods for HIV prevention efficacy trials, human challenge studies, and biomarker-guided treatment decision frameworks.
